Feature · Pre- & Post-Move Property Inspections
Document the Home, Not Just the Boxes.
Most damage disputes aren’t about the sofa — they’re about the wall the sofa scraped on the way out. Tagdd+ builds a photo record of the property itself, before the first box moves and after the last one leaves.
A scuffed baseboard or a dinged doorframe becomes a “your crew did that” conversation fast — and without a record of what the home looked like beforehand, there’s no good way to answer it. Tagdd+ treats the property itself as something to inventory, with a Pre-Inspection Survey before the move starts and a Post-Inspection Survey once it’s done.
Both surveys live right in the move’s task list — one before packing starts, one after.
Start broad: inside or outside
Logging a piece of existing damage starts with the basics — is it inside the home or outside on the property? That’s the one thing a crew member decides for themselves before the camera does the rest.
Location — the one manual choice before AI takes over.
Log Damages — snap a photo and let AI take it from here.
Capture it with AI
Tap Add Damage by AI and take a photo of the damage. That single photo is all it takes — everything from here is filled in automatically. Prefer to skip AI entirely? “Enter manually” is right there as a fallback.
From one photo
AI reads the photo and fills in the rest
The room, the exact spot, and the written description aren’t separate steps a crew member fills out — they’re what Tagdd+ determines from the photo itself. What follows is the result, not a form to complete.
Room, identified
The room is recognized from the photo — here, correctly placed in the den.
Exact spot, pinpointed
Down to the surface — wall, baseboard, trim, door — not just the room.
Description, written
A plain-English write-up of what the photo shows, saved alongside the image.
A crew member can still edit any of it — swap the room, adjust the exact spot, rewrite the description — before hitting Save. AI gets it right the first time far more often than it needs correcting.
Same process, two moments that matter
The exact same Location → Room → Locations → Details flow runs twice on every move:
Walk the property before a single box is packed. Any existing scuffs, dings, or wear get logged and photographed — so they’re on record as pre-existing before the crew ever touches a wall.
Walk it again once the truck is loaded. Anything new gets logged the same way — and because the pre-move record already exists, it’s immediately clear what changed and what didn’t.
A “he said, she said” argument over a scratched doorframe doesn’t hold up well for either side. A dated, photographed, room-by-room record from before the move started does — for the crew and for the customer.
Protect the crew. Protect the customer.
